What are you reading Wednesday?

Hi all,

This week I’m coming at you with a ‘What Are You Reading Wednesday’ post. I haven’t done one of those since January so I think it is long overdue.

‘What Are You Reading Wednesday’ is a segment hosted by itsareadingthing.com in which you have to answer three questions pertaining to the book you are currently reading. The questions are as follows:

What are you reading wednesday1. What’s the name of your current read?

2. Go to page 34 in your book or 34% in your eBook and share one complete sentence.

3. Would you like to live in the world that exists within your book? Why or why not?

Here are my answers for this week:

1. What’s the name of your current read?

I am currently reading The Martian by Andy Weir. I featured this novel in my last book haul and have been looking forward to reading it ever since. I’m a third of the way through and enjoying it so far.

2. Go to page 34 in your book or 34% in your eBook and share one complete sentence.

“Boy is this place a tropical jungle now, I’ll tell ya.” About half of the novel is written as the main character’s diary entry so the language is very familiar. I’m usually not a big fan of this writing style but it’s very well done in this case.

3. Would you like to live in the world that exists within your book? Why or why not?

As much as I am an introvert, being stranded on Mars is not really my idea of a good time so I think I’ll pass.

And here we are. I am planning on reviewing this novel as soon as I’m finished. Hopefully, you won’t have to wait too long.

Before I go, I would love to know what you guys are reading at the moment.

Toodles,

Pow.
