What are you reading Wednesday?

Hi all,

I hope you’re all doing well and not a ball of stress like I am (school?! Whose idea was it?!)Enjoy this week’s ‘What are you reading Wednesday?’!

‘What Are You Reading Wednesday’ is a segment hosted by itsareadingthing.com in which you have to answer three questions pertaining to the book you are currently reading. The questions are as follows:

What are you reading wednesday1. What’s the name of your current read?

2. Go to page 34 in your book or 34% in your eBook and share one complete sentence.

3. Would you like to live in the world that exists within your book? Why or why not?

Here are my answers for this week:

1. What’s the name of your current read?

Go Set a Watchman by Harper Lee. I have been talking about this novel since I’ve started this blog and I’ve owned it since last July. Better late than never! For those of you who don’t know, this is the (50-year later) sequel to Lee’s modern classic, To Kill a Mockingbird and is set almost 20 years after the first book.

2. Go to page 34 in your book or 34% in your eBook and share one complete sentence.

“We’re just all crazy.” This is the Scout we know and love. She is not afraid to be blunt and provocative to make others question their beliefs.

3. Would you like to live in the world that exists within your book? Why or why not?

The story takes place in rural Mississippi in the mid-1950s, not the most tolerant of places and not really somewhere I would want to live.

And that is all. What are you all reading on this fine day?

Toodles,

Pow.
